This was a very special day for us @ Derma Studio’s, we had an engagement proposal at our spa! I am not sure who was more nervous, myself or the groom to be, but all went beautifully and the answer was a definite YES.

Our Nail Bar will officially be open from next Tuesday 21st February!

We will be offering the best acrylic tips, Bio-Sculpture overlays as well as Gel Tips to our Urban Spa Menu.

Our Nail Technicians are highly qualified and have been in the nail industry for years, so you will experience the best service and products at Derma Studio’s.

Derma Studio’s is pleased to introduce Microdermabrasion to our Specialised Treatment’s Menu. We have remarkable results from this treatment, and highly recommend this to our clients.

What is Microdermabrasion?

Microdermabrasion is a non-abrasive, safe, pain free facial peel.

Unwanted dead skin cells are gently removed, through a Microdermabrasion diamond peel, allowing new skin cells and nutrition to surface. An immediate result is visible, skin will look and feel smooth, glowing, and your skin tone and texture will be more even. In addition, microdermabrasion will stimulate the creation of collagen and cell turnover, and our treatment is used in conjunction with Dermacell Swiss Collagen products.

No flaking occurs after the microdermabrasion treatment, due to the technology used.

This treatment is done every second week, until desired results are visible, or as an on-going treatment, which can be incorporated into a monthly facial.

What is Microdermabrasion used for?

Microdermabrasion is used for the treatment of:

We will be offering nails, both gel and acrylic, which will be cured under an LED light to shorten the time required, we understand that most of us ladies have to work full day and that time is of the essence.

Needle-free meso-therapy, vacuum massage and pain free diamond peeling, for both face and body will include colour therapy and is a huge addition to our menu.

We are so pleased and equally as excited about introducing Holistic Healing to our menu (which will be up shortly) by a very special and gifted lady Hettie van der Schyff, and on this note; a re-iteration on the meaning of our Dragonfly Logo:

Our Ahava Mineral Back Treatment begins with a Dead Sea salt exfoliation which gently removes dead skin cells, increasing circulation allowing fresh nutrients and oxygen to surface. This is followed by an application of Ahava Dead Sea Mud, which is known worldwide, 32 minerals and Dunaliella Algae and Date Fruit Extracts are massaged over the back and left on as a wrap for 20 minutes. The treatment is finished off with the Ahava Intensive Moisturising Body Cream. The end result is rejuvenated, hydrated, smooth, soft and healthy skin ready for any occasion.
